Virginian Soccer Tournament 2008, 33rd Annual
The Power Orange remained undefeated through the group stages and were tied for first place in their flight. They ended up winning the flight due to two shutouts that clinched the tie-breaker. They then followed that up with a dominant performance against a tough Baltimore Bays Eagles team. That game may have been the best that the Power Orange have ever played. It was certainly enough to propel them to the 2008 Virginian Finals in the top U-10 group. That Monday morning, the Power Orange met an unstoppable New York team, Clarkstown 98. Clarkstown brought the high-flying Power Orange right back down to earth with a 5-1 victory for the championship.
